Kasey Gillham

Kasey lives at the southern end of the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Georgia, where she wears a lot of hats and likes it that way. She has decades of hands-on experience building productive backyard gardens, saving seeds, and companion planting, with a particular passion for heirloom vegetables, medicinal herbs, and native wildflowers. She's especially drawn to gardens that support bees, butterflies, and other wildlife. When she isn't writing or teaching, you'll find her family hiking, foraging for edible and medicinal plants, and cooking meals from scratch together.
